Rain, Natural Definition

The housing concept has taken a turn in the last years, the sense of integration has been positioned as a rule for home design. The combination of green areas, natural light, and open spaces acts in harmony, while improving the life quality of its inhabitants.

PPAA Arquitectos presents Lluvia, house located in the Jardines del Pedregal neighborhood, south of Mexico City and whose main feature is the vegetation at the land’s rear end, which became one of the spotlights for the development of the architectural plan.

The project was conceived as a solid volume incorporating subtractions, small courtyards, and double heights along the main axis. The work’s main purpose was to intertwine sections of natural vegetation from the garden with the house’s interior areas, allowing natural light to enter its different spaces.
