The expansion and redesign of the new Palacio de Hierro was completed in 2015 under the name El Palacio de Hierro Polanco. After analyzing several schemes, the chosen design contemplates the adaptation to the new needs and the new context. Its basing is maintained, one level is added and it covers the original shopping center. The expansion of the office tower was contemplated following the same line and original triangular volumetry but giving it greater urban presence and height. The original underground parking had 3 levels, now a new underground parking of 8 levels with 35,200 m2 of construction was designed to complement the original parking.
